Slow Cooker Beef Bourguignon

Prepare Beef and Vegetables: Cut beef into chunks and chop carrots, onions, and mushrooms. Season the beef with salt and pepper for enhanced flavor.

To add richness, sear beef chunks on all sides in olive oil in a pan. The slow-cooked Beef Bourguignon gains depth and flavor.

Add chopped onions and garlic to the pan and sauté until aromatic. Put seared meat, onions, and garlic in the slow cooker.

Red Wine Deglaze: Pour red wine into the pan and scrape out browned particles. Extra tastes are extracted here. Put the wine mixture in the slow cooker.

Add broth and herbs to the slow cooker's beef and vegetables. Complexify with thyme, bay leaves, and tomato paste.

For Intense Flavor: Slow cook on low for 6-8 hours to tenderize the beef and blend the flavors. Slow cooking deepens the food.

Finish with Bacon and Mushrooms: In the last hour of cooking, sauté bacon and mushrooms separately, then add them to the slow cooker.
